Aerial picture provided by Pierrot
with some bunker locations.
The important discovery is the
R501 East of the demolished L402.
The discovery was made thanks
to Pierrot's intencive research work.
Vf7a
Meaning bunker 166 West of Ostend.(but
in fact is is south of Ostend...)
Part of the L(Leicht) is visible
above the number.
Minimax tekst above the entrance
inside the room of the Vf2A bunker.
Minimax is a fire extinguisher
company which is still in buisiness.
Due to the problems which rose with the Moving Dunes near the Calidris hotel, the excess of sand has been thrown over the bunkers which are now completely inaccessible.

April 27 2009: Discovery
of a 501 or 502, exactly as predicted by Pierrot !
Except we are not sure which
bunker this would be. This bunker would lead us to the limit of our power.
April 30 2009: Continuation
with digging up the bunker, it could be a 501 build in mirror image
but we are not sure.
That day we were digging more
than 3m deep but couldn't find the entrance.
We had to close everything again
and continue another day.
June 7 2009: Election day but at last after hours and hours of digging we found the entrance left of the iron ladder.

Remark the number written with
a lead pencil above the real number.
We've seen that on other locations
in the area.
